on the eligibility of persons to the management and servicing of vessels
The Ministry of transport determined in accordance with section 52 of Act No. 114/1995 Coll., on
inland waterway, as amended by Act No. 359/1999 Coll., Act No.
118/2004 Coll., Act No. 309/2008 Coll. and Act No. 187/2014 Coll. (hereinafter the
"the Act") for the implementation of section 24, paragraph. 4, § 25 paragraph. 1, 6 and 11, § 25a
paragraph. 4 and § 25b paragraph. 3:
PART THE FIRST
INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS
§ 1
The subject of the edit

§ 2
The basic concepts
(1) For the purposes of this Ordinance shall be allocated to the
and ships, which are)
1. self-propelled ships,
2. ships without its own propulsion machinery,
3. ferry-boats,
b) small vessels, which are
1. small vessels without their own drive and without sails (hereinafter referred to as
"no drive") of the weight of the load is enabled in a
1000 kg inclusive,
2. small vessels without their own drive weight including
the allowable loads over 1000 kg,
3. small self-propelled vessels to 4 kW including,
4. small craft self-propelled performance over 4 kW,
5. small craft with a sail sails with total area up to 12 m2 including,
6. small craft with a sail sails with total area over 12 m2,
c) floating equipment.
(2) For the purposes of this Ordinance means
and) recreational craft vessel that is designed, approved and used
for recreational purposes,

seaman, seaman, ship's engineer and mate.
PART THE SECOND
THE CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY TO THE LEADERSHIP OF THE VESSEL AND THE VESSEL OPERATOR'S MANUAL
§ 3
The management and operation of a vessel with a certificate of eligibility
(1) a vessel, whose leadership and instruction manual is entitled only to the leader of the vessel
and a member of the crew of a vessel with a certificate of eligibility is

c) small vessel self-propelled performance over 4 kW,
unless otherwise provided in section 5,

§ 4
(1) a licence or a crew member of the vessel's leader does not replace
a special licence to operate floating equipment, if required
him the Decree on safety and health at work and the safety

§ 5
Management of the vessel without licence
(1) a person may, without a licence on all waterways lead

EXAMINATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE, THE REQUIRED PRACTICE AND MEDICAL FITNESS
TITLE I OF THE
ACTIVITIES WHICH CANNOT THREATEN THE SAFETY OF NAVIGATION, THE TEST PROFESSIONAL
THE COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
§ 6
The activities of the protective safety of navigation
Activities that do not threaten the safety of navigation, they are

§ 8

§ 9
The ship's engineer
The required practice of ship's engineer is less than 12 months in Office

§ 10
The helmsman
The required practice for the helmsman is at least 24 months in the function of seaman

§ 11
The captain of the
(1) the captain of the vessel category and is the leader of a legitimate lead vessel, with

months of the self-propelled vessel, with the exception of the recreational

(5) the captain of the category C is the leader of the vessels authorised to lead on all
waterways of the Czech Republic

§ 12
The Ferryman
(1) the Ferryman is the leader of the vessels authorised to lead the ferry-boat
carrying not more than 12 passengers.
(2) the required practice boatman is at least 3 months on board.

section 13
The leader of the small vessel
(1) the leader of the small vessels, is entitled to lead on all waterways

(2) the examination of professional competence of the applicant for the issue of certificate of competency
the leader of a small vessel consists in the form of verification of theoretical knowledge and
in the form of verification of practical skills in the conduct of the vessel. Verification of the
practical skills in the conduct of the vessel is not performed if the applicant
on the issue of the licence holder of certificate of eligibility

(3) Verification of theoretical knowledge of subjects is carried out and to the extent

§ 14
The leader of the recreational craft
(1) for the purposes of this order are the permissions of the leader of the recreational
the vessel
category I) which entitles him to the leadership of this vessel, which is
a small vessel in accordance with the categories of permission under section 13 (3). 1
on the inland waterways of the foreign, which is this

(5) the right to issue the international certificate of competency leader

at least 6 persons, in accordance with Annex 2 to this Decree.
§ 15

(1) the holder of a certificate of eligibility to the leadership of the vessel using the

§ 17
Management and servicing vessels transporting passengers
(1) the leader or member of the crew of the vessel transporting the passengers shall be

passenger transport in the form of authentication consists of theoretical knowledge
in the form of a written test in the range referred to in annex 2 to this Decree.
(3) the model certificate for the management and operation of the vessel transporting
the passenger is given in annex 1 to this notice.
TITLE II
CONDITIONS OF THE MEDICAL FITNESS REQUIREMENTS, MEDICAL OPINION ABOUT THE
MEDICAL FITNESS AND INTERVALS OF REGULAR MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
THE LEADER OF THE VESSEL AND THE CREW OF THE VESSEL
section 18
Health conditions of eligibility
The conditions applicable to the assessment of the medical fitness health

§ 19
Medical opinion about health eligibility
Medical opinion on health (hereinafter referred to as "medical expert")

TITLE III
METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION, ASSESSMENT AND TEST CONDITIONS EXPERT

TITLE IV
THE SCOPE AND CONTENT OF THE PRACTICAL TESTS

TRANSITIONAL AND FINAL PROVISIONS
section 23
Transitional provisions

n) certificate, the leader of the recreational craft, pursuant to section 14, paragraph. 1
(a). (b)) of this order shall be replaced by the leader of a recreational licence
