DECREE



of 21 June 1999. March 2017



on the implementation of certain provisions of the Act on the vineyard and Winery



The Ministry of agriculture lays down, pursuant to section 42 of Act No. 321/2004 Coll.

Vineyard and Winery and amending certain related laws

(law on wine growing and winemaking), as amended by Act No. 179/2005 Coll.

Act No. 411/2005 Coll., Act No. 215/2006 Coll., Act No. 256/2011 Coll.

and Act No. 26/2017 Coll. (hereinafter the "Act") to implement section 4, paragraph 4. 4

(a). (d)), § 6 (1). 4, § 11 (1) 3, § 12 para. 7, § 14 para. 2, section 16 of the

paragraph. 4 and 11, § 17 para. 1 (b). a) and (c)), section 17a. 2, § 23 para. 14,

§ 26 para. 12, § 26a, § 27 para. 14, § 28 para. 8, § 30 paragraph 2. 6 and § 37

paragraph. 10:



§ 1



The list of varieties for the production of quality wines produced in specified regions



[To section 4, paragraph 4 (b), (d)) of the Act]



(1) the list of wine-grape vine varieties, from which it is permitted to produce

quality wine produced in a region, is made up of wine grape varieties in the State

varietal book ^ 1) or in other countries of the European plant variety books

Union.



(2) the names of some of the varieties referred to in paragraph 1 may be replace synonyms

listed in annex 1.



(3) the names of the varieties referred to in paragraph 1 may be replace shortcuts. The use of the

shortcuts only applies to packages which are not intended for consumers,

records and accompanying documents. List of abbreviations for individual

the variety is set out in annex 2.



§ 2



More detailed requirements for the manufacture of certain products and the physical,

chemical and sensory requirements on the quality of the products



[To section 11, paragraph 3 (a)) of the Act]



(1) the list of diseases and defects of the wine to the look, color, smell, taste and

sparkling wine is given in annex 3.



(2) the sensory quality of the wine requirements, with the exception of sparkling wine,

semi-sparkling wine, liqueur wine, aromatized wine, aromatized

wine drinks, an aromatized wine-cocktail, odalkoholizovaného

wines and wine nízkoalkoholického, are listed in annex 4.



(3) Sensory quality requirements for aerated semi-sparkling wines and sparkling wines are

listed in annex 5.



(4) Sensory quality requirements of liqueur wine are set out in annex

6.

Annex # 7.

§ 3



(1) for wines with a designation of origin, produced from grapes harvested

in the Czech Republic can increase the total alcoholic strength by volume of 15%

Vol. ^ 2).



(2) in the case of quality wines with a wine selection of berries or ice wine

volatile acid content must not exceed 30 milliequivalents per litre for wines.

For quality wines with special attributes selection of raisins or straw wine must not

volatile acid content shall not exceed 35 milliequivalents per litre for wines ^ 3).



§ 4



Removal of by-products resulting from the manufacturing or

products



[To section 11, paragraph 3 (b)) law]



(1) removal of the by-products arising from the processing or

manufacture of the products is carried out

§ 5



Values for the permissible technological losses in the production of the products



(§ 12 para. 7 of the law)

§ 6

§ 7



Details concerning the labelling of products



(§ 16 para. 11 of the law)

§ 8



The provincial wine



[To section 17, paragraph 1 (a)), and (c)) of the Act]

§ 9

§ 10

§ 11

§ 12



The vineyard register



(§ 28 para. 8 of the Act)

§ 14



Lump-sum cost of wine certification and verification of compliance with

specifications



(To section 17a (2), section 26a and § 37 para. 10 of the law)



The amount of the lump-sum cost of certified wines without protected

designations of origin, protected geographical indication or a traditional expression

with the name of the variety or the designation year is 500 CZK for one inspector

for every hour of activity. The same as the amount of the lump sum payment

§ 15



Use of the logo on the cover dedicated to the consumer



(Section 16 (4) of the Act)

(2) in the case of packages intended for consumers of the cylinder shall be indicated on the

§ 17



Final provision



This Decree was notified in accordance with the directive of the European Parliament
