by means of which the surplus resources of the 2000 term are allocated, from the insurance sub-account of catastrophic risks and traffic accidents of the Solidarity and Health Guarantee Fund.
The Congress of Colombia,
DECRETA:
ARTICLE 1o. Of the surplus resources of the fiscal year 2000 of the Sub-account of Catastrophic Risk Insurance and Traffic Accidents of the Solidarity and Health Guarantee Fund, 50 billion pesos ($50,000,000,000) to finance the restructuring program of public network health services institutions and a hundred billion pesos ($100,000,000,000) to guarantee the financial sustainability of public hospitals and health care for the related population not covered by the contributory and subsidised schemes and events not covered by the subsidised POS-s. These resources will be distributed progressively and in response to compliance by public hospitals with efficiency agreements signed with the Ministry of Health.
ARTICLE 2o. This law governs from the date of its publication.
