By means of which the exercise of the Family Development profession is regulated and other provisions are dictated.

COLOMBIA CONGRESS

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. Reglamentase the exercise of the profession of Family Development, subject to the regime of this law, which aims to form a human resource with capacity and ability to understand the reality and the problems of the Colombian family, contributing to the formulation of policies and alternatives aimed at improving their quality of life, and that of each of its members.

ARTICLE 2o. Family Development professionals will be able to perform the functions established for this profession, both in public and private activities.

PARAGRAFO. To exercise the Family Development profession, it is required, in addition to the academic requirements required by the State, to provide six (6) months of service in the entities designated by the Government, either in the city or in the field.

ARTICLE 3o. State and private companies that require Family Development services may only hire professionals with a university degree, obtained in accordance with this law.

ARTICLE 4. For the purposes of this law, the quality of the Family Development Professional is recognized:

(a) Who has obtained or obtained the degree of Professional, Licensed or Doctor of Family Development, issued by a university duly recognized by the State;

b) To whom he has obtained or obtained in other countries the degree equivalent to Professional in Family Development, with which Colombia has concluded agreements or treaties on reciprocity of university degrees;

c) To whom you have obtained or obtain in the country or abroad, titles of Specialist, Master or Doctor of Family Development.

ARTICLE 5o. This law governs from your sanction and modifies the provisions that are contrary to you.
