By means of which the Technological Institute of Soledad, Atlantico, ITSA is created, and other provisions are dictated.

COLOMBIA CONGRESS

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. Create the Technological Institute of Soledad, Atlantico, as a public establishment of the national order, attached to the Ministry of National Education, with legal personality, academic autonomy, administrative and financial. Your home will be the city of Soledad, department of the Atlantic.

PARAGRAFO. The creation of the Technology Institution that treats this law will be subject to the requirements laid down in Law 30 of 1992.

ARTICLE 2o. The Soledad Institute will have the main objectives:

-Offer technological careers that contribute to the industrial, agricultural, social, ecological and economic development of the region.

-Contribute to strengthening the training of human resources in science and technology to provide better job opportunities for youth in the Atlantic and Caribbean.

-Provide technical and scientific advice regarding social development; economic and ecological development of the Atlantic Coast and the country.

ARTICLE 3o. The heritage of the Institute of Technology will be constituted by:

-The items that will be included annually in the budgets for the Institute: national, municipal department.

-Goods that as a legal person acquire any title.

-The rents you receive for any concept.

-The donations and legacies that are awarded.

ARTICLE 4. The Technology Institute of Soledad may contract internal or external borrowings in accordance with the provisions in force for public law entities.

ARTICLE 5o. The Comptroller General of the Republic will exercise the fiscal surveillance of the Technological Institute of Soledad.

ARTICLE 6o. The Nation, the department of the Atlantic and the municipality of Soledad will allocate necessary budgetary resources for the conformation and development of the Instituto Tecnológico de Soledad, Atlántico.

ARTICLE 7o. This law governs from the date of its enactment.
