By means of which the Nation is associated with the fifty years of the foundation of the University of the Valley and other provisions are dictated.

COLOMBIA CONGRESS

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. The Nation is associated with the celebration of the fifty years of legal life of the University of Valle, created by Ordinance No. 12 of June 11, 1945, issued by the honorable Assembly of the Department of the Valley.

ARTICLE 2o. To ensure that this date does not go unnoticed and compliance with articles 334, 341 final, 345 and 346 of the National Constitution, appropriate within the budget, the sum of 11 billion of weights ($11,000,000,000.00) to execute the works described below:

Project No. 1. Endowment and adequacy of the Headquarters of the Institute of High Legal Studies of the University of Valle, the sum of one thousand hundred million pesos ($1,100,000,000.00).

Project number 2. For the construction, adequacy and endowment of libraries, sports scenarios, laboratories, cafeterias, offices, classrooms, the sum of four thousand four hundred million pesos ($4,400,000,000.00) distributed in the Regional Sedes of the University of Valle, located in the municipalities of Buga, Caicedonia, Cartago, Buenaventura, Palmira, Tulua, Zarzal, Yumbo, Ipiales, Santander de Quilichao and San Andrés and Providencia, at the rate of four hundred millions of pesos ($400,000,000.00) for each.

Project No. 3. Construction, adequacy and endowment of sports scenarios for the University of Valle, the sum of two billion pesos ($2,000,000,000.00).

Project number 4. To comply with the provisions of Decree 1444 of 1993, the sum of two billion pesos ($2,000,000,000.00).

Project number 5. Construction and endowment of the Academic Registration Unit at the Melendez Headquarters of the University of Valle, the sum of one billion pesos ($1,000,000,000.00).

Project number 6. For the programming of seminars, conferences, collection of memoirs, publications on the celebration of fifty years, the sum of five hundred million pesos ($500,000,000.00).

ARTICLE 3o. The National Government is authorized to carry out the necessary budgetary appropriations, to make the necessary budgetary transfers for the implementation of this Law.

ARTICLE 4. This Law governs from the date of its enactment.
