For which the Nation is associated with the celebration of the 50 years of the foundation of the University of Tolima, expenses are ordered for infrastructure and endowment works and other provisions related to this efemerides.
THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,
DECRETA:
ARTICLE 1o. The Nation is associated with the celebration of the Fifty years of the foundation of the University of Tolima, created by Ordinance No. 5 of May 21, 1945 and which came into operation through Legislative Decree number 1916 of 25 October 1954.
ARTICLE 2o. So that this date does not go unnoticed and compliance with 334, 341 Final point, 345 and 346 of the National Constitution, appropriating within the budget the sum of Five billion pesos ($5,000,000,000.00) to execute the works listed below:
Building block class classroom, the sum of One billion pesos ($1,000,000,000.00).
Building block for educational resources and audiovisual aids the sum of Seishundred eighty million pesos ($680,000,000.00).
Construction blocks the sum of Mil million pesos ($1,000,000,000.00).
Adequacy and maintenance of the existing physical plant the sum of Cent twenty million pesos ($120,000,000.00).
Acquisition vehicles for transportation to student field practices, the sum of Two hundred million pesos ($200,000,000.00).
Endowment of laboratories, audiovisual aids, library, computers and surveying equipment, the sum of four hundred million pesos ($400,000,000.00).
Acquisition and adaptation lot land Granja San Jorge currently owned by the Salesian Community the sum of Mil six hundred million pesos ($1,600,000,000.00).
ARTICLE 3o. The appropriate resources through this Law will be channeled and executed through the University of Tolima.
ARTICLE 4. The National Government is empowered to carry out the corresponding budgetary operations.
ARTICLE 5o. This Law governs from the date of its enactment.
