By means of which the Colombian State is associated with the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. Affiliate the Congress of the Republic of Colombia to the Inter-Parliamentary Union constituted in 1889.

ARTICLE 2o. Adopt the Statutes of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

(Text of the statutes)

ARTICLE 3o. To cover the costs incurred by the Colombian State, as a member of this Inter-Parliamentary Union, in accordance with the contributions established by the statutes.

ARTICLE 4. The expenses to be paid by the Colombian State in the development of this Law will be charged to the budget of the Congress of the Republic of Colombia.

ARTICLE 5o. This Law governs from the date of its enactment.
