By which the National Flag is ordered to be raised and the patriotic symbols placed in public and educational establishments, military and police installations, and representations of Colombia abroad, and they are dictated other provisions

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. Order the raising of the National Flag and the placement of the National Shield, permanently and throughout the national territory, to the main entrance of the buildings where entities operate national, departmental, district or municipal public, military and police facilities, and educational establishments, as well as in the headquarters of the diplomatic and consular missions of Colombia in the outside.

ARTICLE 2o. The specifications of the national emblems will be those defined by the Law.

ARTICLE 3o. The Rectors or Directors of the public or private establishments of primary and secondary education, will have to celebrate once a week, during the academic periods, a civic ceremony with participation of all the students, in which the National Flag will be held and the National Anthem of the Republic of Colombia will be sung.

ARTICLE 4. Public servants who exercise the utmost authority in the entities and facilities concerned by the article 1o, and in the educational establishments of a character They must comply strictly with this Law. Otherwise, they will be punished, in accordance with the pre-existing disciplinary regime, or in accordance with the regulations issued by the National Government.

ARTICLE 6o. ARTICLE 7o. The Ministry of Communications * will advance the efforts to make regional television channels, radio stations and radio stations independent of private character, simultaneously and on a voluntary basis, broadcast the Sunday program of the article 6or, for which the National Government will be able to establish the stimuli and subsidies that are necessary.
