by means of which the Nation is associated with the celebration of the birth of the illustrious public man Alberto Pumarejo Vengoechea
THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,
DECRETA:
ARTICLE 1o. The Nation is associated with the celebration of the centenary of the birth of the illustrious citizen and ex-designate of the Presidency of the Republic, Don Alberto Pumarejo Vengoechea, which occurred in the city of Barranquilla on May 2, 1893 and extols its public server memory as an example to the next generations.
ARTICLE 2o. As of the publication of this Law, the Nation will associate itself with this celebration with financial support through co-financing schemes, as established in Law 60 of 1993, of the following works of social interest in the Special Maritime and Port District of Barranquilla:
1-Construction of the primary primary education School Concentration "Alberto Pumarejo".
2-Construction of the Alberto Pumarejo Children's Room at Barranquilla Pediatric Hospital.
ARTICLE 3o. Previous works are covered in the Barranquilla Development Plan.
ARTICLE 4. From the General Budget of the Nation, the payments that this co-financing will be charged will be charged to the works to be carried out in the district of Barranquilla in honor of the memory of Alberto Pumarejo.
ARTICLE 5o. This Act governs from the date of its publication.
