For which the Republic is associated with the celebration of a centenary.

COLOMBIA CONGRESS

CONSIDERING:

1. That on November 27, the centennial of the birth of Dr. Rodrigo Noguera Barreneche is marked.

2. That Dr. Noguera Barreneche did not only shine the Republic with works that honor literature, grammar, philosophy, law and mathematics, but also consecrated his brilliant intelligence and all his reveals to the education of the youth, and

3. That it is a duty of the Nation to honor the memory of the citizens who have exalted the Homeland and served it with selflessness and effectiveness.

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. The Republic of Colombia highlights the memory of Dr. Rodrigo Noguera Barreneche on the occasion of the centenary of his birth and is associated with the tribute that will be paid to him in Santa Marta, his city birth, next November 27 of the current year.

ARTICLE 2o. The public library of the city of Santa Marta will carry the name of Library Rodrigo Barreneche.

ARTICLE 3o. A copy of this law will be sent to the family of Dr. Rodrigo Noguera Barreneche.
