COLOMBIA CONGRESS
DECRETA:
ARTICLE 1o. Addition to the second book, Title VII, Chapter 1, of the Criminal Code with the following article to be inserted after Article 241:
" ARTICLE 241 A: Illicit exercise of monopolistic activity of rentistic arbitrage. In any way or using any means, it carries out an activity established as a monopoly of a profit-making arbitration, without subjection to the rules that the regulation will incur in terms of imprisonment of three (3) to five (5) years and the payment of a fine Ten (10) to 100 (100) minimum legal salaries.
" The penalty will be increased by a third party when this crime is committed by the individual who is a dealer, legal representative or legally authorized employer for the exploitation of a profitable monopoly, and up to half, if committed the punishable act is a public servant of any entity that holds a monopoly of a financial arbitration or whose object is the exploitation or administration of it. "
