ACT 45 OF 1993

By means of which elections are authorized

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 2, of the transitional article 17 of the Political Constitution, the first election of Governors for the Departments of Amazonas, Guaviare, Guainia. Vaupes and Vichada will be done on the same date as the Law for the next election of Governors in the other departments of the National Territory.

ARTICLE 2o. The electoral organization shall take the necessary measures for the organization and development of the elections in which Article 1 is concerned.

ARTICLE 3o. Authorize the National Government to perform the budgetary operations required for compliance with this Law.

ARTICLE 4. This Law governs from the date of its enactment.
