(Adopted at the 51st ordinary meeting of the People's Government of Western Annai on 4 June 2004, No. 44 of 15 August 2004 on the date of publication of Government Order No. 44 of 15 August 2004)

Article 9 was amended to read: “Every city map (including a variety of professional maps) published in public publication, the name of the book, which must be published in the civil administration, except in the case of historical names.”
Article 11, paragraph (ii), was amended to read: “The establishment and management of geographical names in the city shall be the responsibility of the municipal administration”.
This decision is implemented since the date of publication.
The application of the Rules for the Management of Geographical Names in the SAsian City is re-published in accordance with this decision.

Annex: Application of the Rules for the Management of Geographical Names (Amendment (2004))
(Amendment of the Decision of the Government of the City of 20 August 1988 on the Amendment of the Rules for the Management of Geographical Names in the Western Indian City of 15 August 2004)
Article 1 establishes this rule in the light of the State Department's Regulations on Geographical Names Management and the Modalities for the Management of Geographical Names in the Provinces of Western Sahara.
Article 2
(i) The name of the administrative area: the name of the city, district, district, commune, town and street offices.
(ii) The name of the resident: including the streets of the town, the name of the residential area, the name of the natural villages of the suburbs and counties, and the name of the settlements.
(iii) Names of natural geographical entities: including the existence of mountains, rivers, glaciers and original names in this city.
(iv) The names of facilities, such as place, stations, ports, sites, etc. used by various specialized departments; the name of large public buildings, including the city gates, squares, sports spaces, quantification system, the bridging system, the tunnel system.
(v) Name name of the landscape: including names of various physical protection units, tourist sites, landscapes and commemorative sites.
(vi) Name of natural protected areas.
Article 3.
The Government of the Municipalities and the People's Government set up the Office for Geographical Names, which is responsible for the day-to-day work on the management of geographical names, and its office is located in the civil administration. Guidance on top-level geographical names institutions is accepted operationally.
Article IV
(i) Implementation of national legislation, regulations and policies on the work of geographical names.
(ii) Develop and organize the implementation of the rules for the management of geographical names in the Territory, recent plans and long-term planning.
(iii) The designation and replacement of names.
(iv) Examination, supervision of the operation of standard geographical names.
(v) Examination of the placement and updating of the name mark.
(vi) The collection, collation of information on geographical names and the continuous updating of information generated by the Geographical Names census and the establishment of archives.
(vii) Organizing and conducting research on topographic doctrines to explore the historical characteristics and regulations of the present city's geographical names. To promote the scientific research outcomes of the toponymic sites, the compilation of toponymic tools such as the geographical names logs, topographic maps of the Territory.
(viii) Training of toponyms in the conduct of geospatial advisory services.
Article 5 naming of names shall be subject to the following provisions:
(i) The designation of geographical names reflects both the history, culture, geographical characteristics of the city and the need for modern cities and international engagement.
(ii) Newly named geographical names in the urban area are used as streets, roads, gallery, and as guests. The roads in the urban area are usually named “ Street”; the dry gallery outside the city is named “roads”; the way between the resident area is named “tourther”; and the new residential area is named by “invests”.
(iii) In addition to the historical legacy or the special approval of the city's people's Government, there is a general absence of a name and the prohibition of the use of the names of national leaders for geographical names.
(iv) Street roads, names of neighbourhoods in the urban area, names of municipal and district communes, names of the streets in one town, the name of the natural village, shall not be repeated and shall be avoided. The same name is considered as a top name.
(v) The name of the landscape area and natural protected areas shall generally be aligned with the geographical names of the sites.
The names of railways, roads, bridges, vehicle stations, farms, forest sites and fishing sites are generally consistent with the location's geographical names.
The name of the Village Council should be aligned with the name of the resident village.
(vi) The words used in the name are based on the “Principles of Principles” published by the State. In addition to the archaeological buildings, the archaeological buildings are not used. The prohibition on the use of the word and the word of origin that has been phased out.
(vii) In the case of the use by the entrepreneurship unit of the explanatory brand in relation to the name of the name, the veterinary rules developed by the Committee on Geographical Names of China should be harmonized.
Article 6

Article 7. Terms of reference and procedures for the designation of geographical names:

Article 9

Article 11. Placement and management of geographical names:
(i) Street, road, gallery and populated areas have been officially named, and geographical names must be set. More streets, in addition to two ends, should also set toponyms. The names of the markers must be consistent with the location's toponyms and the need to be matched.
(ii) The establishment and management of geographical names markers in the city, which is the responsibility of the municipal administration.
