Interim measures for the aquatic germplasm resources in protected areas management

    First to regulate aquatic germplasm resources in the establishment and management of protected areas, enhancing aquatic germplasm resources protection under the Fisheries Act and other related laws and regulations, these measures are formulated.

    Article aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas mentioned in these measures refers to protection of aquatic germplasm resources and their Habitat, has high economic value of aquatic germplasm resources and genetic breeding value of the main breeding area, defined according to law and to the special protection and management of water, beaches and Islands, land adjacent to the field.

    Article in the People's Republic of China area and People's Republic of China in other waters under the jurisdiction the establishment and management of aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas, engaged in activities involving aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas shall comply with these measures.

Competent national aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas of the fourth Department of agriculture.

Provincial fishery administrative departments shall, in accordance with the national aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas master planning, scientific aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas within their respective administrative areas implementation plan and implementation.

    Fishery administrative departments of people's Governments at all levels should actively seek to support and increase the input in construction and management of aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas. 13th aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas named in the following ways:

(A) national aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas: aquatic germplasm resources protection of protected area name + name + "national aquatic germplasm resources conservation area".

(B) the provincial aquatic germplasm resources conservation areas: aquatic germplasm resources protection of protected area name + name + "provincial aquatic germplasm resources conservation area".
