The Board of Government of the Republic of Chile has given its approval to the following Bill Article 1.-Release the National Information Center (C.N. I). The Decree Law No 1,878 of 1977 was repealed. Article 2.-Transfierense, by the sole ministry of the law, the assets and resources that integrate the patrimony of fiscal affectation of the National Information Center, to the Chilean Army. Article 3.-The pending rights and obligations of the National Information Center at the time of its dissolution, will correspond to or will be the responsibility of the Chilean Army. For the purposes mentioned in the previous paragraph, the judicial or extra-judicial representation will be assumed by the State Defense Council. Article 4 °.-The personnel of the plant and the contract of the National Information Center that is appointed and located in the Chilean Army, without any continuity solution, will have the right to the time served in the entity that by this law is dissolves, as well as in his patrimonial ancestor, is considered as time effectively served in the Chilean Army, and valid for all the remunerative, pre-visionary and deahucio effects, as appropriate. In particular, it shall be valid for the minimum time of 20 years referred to in Article 175 of the DFL (G) No 1, 1968. However, the services which have been computed for the granting of a retirement or retirement pension, may not be considered for the purposes mentioned in the preceding paragraph. If such times are covered by impositions, the respective pension institution shall transfer to the Pension institution to which the respective funds are assigned. The persons hired on the basis of fees in the National Information Center, who will be able to integrate the Chilean Army's plants, will be able to apply to the Director of the Staff of that institution, to opt for the Decree Law No. 3,500 of 1980, within 30 days of the validity of this law. Those who do not exercise the aforementioned right of option within the prescribed period shall be subject to the provision of social security and social security arrangements for the personnel of the Armed Forces. Article 5.-The staff of the plant and the contract of the National Information Center, as well as those persons who perform in it on the basis of fees, who are not appointed and encased, in the Chilean Army, and who do not comply with the requirements for retirement, they shall be entitled to receive, from tax, the benefit provided for in Article 29 (e) of Decree Law No 2,879 of 1979. Transitional Article.-The remuneration of personnel who perform functions in the National Information Center during the month of January 1990 will be paid by the Chilean Army.
