Article 1.-amending article 21 of Decree Law No. 701 of 1974, the text of which was replaced by article 1 of Decree Law N ° 2.565, 1979, in the following way: to) Replace subparagraph first with the following: "article 21.-any action of short or exploitation of native forest must be prior approved by the Corporation management plan." The same obligation shall be applicable to plantations in attitude preferably forest land. "."
(b) add the following second and third subparagraphs passing the current second, third, fourth and fifth, to be fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh: "However, cut or exploit plantations carried out on grounds of preferably forest suitability, located from the V Valparaíso Region to Region X of the Lakes, both inclusive, shall require only the prior filing and registration in the respective management plan Corporation" which must contemplate, at least, the reforestation of an area equal to the cut or exploited, with the same species and a density of not less than 50% of initial planting exploded and the protection measures laid down in the regulation. This plan of management and its implementation must adhere to the legislation in force, shall not apply to that article 10 of the present Decree-Law and shall be approved reforestation proposal from the date of its filing. Any reforestation alternative will make required the prior approval of the plan of management by the Corporation.
Management plans referred to in the preceding subparagraphs must be signed by a forest engineer or agronomist specialized, where the total area of the forest in which it takes place the short or exploitation is greater than 10 hectares. "."
(c) replaced into the second paragraph, which became a nursery, the expression "this obligation" by "the provisions of the preceding subparagraphs".
(d) substituted in the fifth paragraph, which became seventh, the expression "the first paragraph" by "in this article".
(e) add the following eighth paragraph.
"Plantations located on lands that are not preferably forest aptitude, will not be affected to the provisions of this article or to the next article.".
