Bearing in mind that the National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: " Article 1.-Authorize the erection of two monuments in memory of the Senator of the Republic Don Jaime Guzman Errazuriz. Article 2.-The monuments will be erected in the cities of Santiago and Valparaiso. Article 3.-The works shall be financed by a public collection, which shall be carried out throughout the country on the date that the Commission determines in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior. Article 4.-Create a fund with the same object, which will be constituted by erogations, donations and private contributions. Article 5.-Create a Commission of seven members ad honorem, charged with executing the objectives of this law, which will be constituted by a Senator, a Deputy, the Mayor of the Metropolitan Region and the V Region of Valparaiso, two Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the Catholic University of Valparaiso and a representative of the Council of National Monuments. The parliamentary representatives will be nominated by their respective Chambers. The Commission shall be chaired by the Senator who integrates it. Article 6.-The Special Commission will have the following functions: a) Prepare the bases and the call for public tender for the realization of the monuments. b) Determine the location of these monuments. (c) To carry out the public collection provided for in Article 3, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior. (d) to administer the fund set up in accordance with Article 4. (e) to issue the public tender referred to in point (a) of this Article. '; And because I have had to approve and sanction it; therefore, promulgate and take effect as the Law of the Republic.
