AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE 5 OF DECREE LAW Nº 1.224, 1975, WHICH CREATES THE NATIONAL TOURISM SERVICE Having present that the National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: " Single article.-Add the following number 22 to the article 5 ° of the decree law Nº 1.224: "N ° 22.-Integrate and participate in the formation and formation of private, non-profit corporations, whose fundamental purpose is the tourism promotion of Chile abroad. Similarly, the Service shall be entitled to participate in the dissolution and liquidation of the entities to which it forms part, in accordance with the statutes of the latter. The Service, through its Director National or through representatives duly empowered by it, may participate in the management and administrative bodies laying down the statutes of such entities, in positions which may not be paid, and make ordinary or extraordinary contributions according to the resources that are contemplated annually in their budget for such purposes. The extraordinary resources provided by the Service to such corporations can only be used to solve specific tourism promotion programs and projects, in which all the operational expenses that will be included can be included. They are derived from them. The extraordinary resources provided by the Service may not be allocated to the financing of ordinary administrative expenses of the corporations, such as remuneration of personnel, leases of dependencies or similar. The Service may also make contributions to private law corporations from which it is not a party provided that such contributions are exclusively intended to carry out tourism promotion actions and in no case may be allocated to finance ordinary administrative expenses of corporations, such as remuneration of staff, leases of dependencies or similar. In any case, the amount of resources provided by the Service to the financing of tourism promotion programs or projects, referred to in the preceding points, may not exceed 50% of the total value of the service. However, in qualified cases, the National Director of the Service, by way of resolution, may authorize amounts exceeding that percentage. The maximum amount of the resources allocated to the purposes of this Law shall be determined annually in the Law on the Budget of the Nation. "".
