"Article 1.-the workers of the Civil Administration of the State, centralised and decentralised, institutions of higher education of the State and municipalities, including staff transferred to the municipal administration in accordance with the provisions of the decree with force of law N ° 1-3063, in 1980, of the Ministry of the Interior, which has chosen to maintain its affiliation to the pension of civil servants regime;" officials of the General Comptroller of the Republic, the judiciary, and the National Congress, who do not apply at present law N ° 16.744, will be subject to the risks of accidents at work and occupational diseases insurance that referred to this latter legal text.
Provisions of paragraph above shall not apply to personnel on the provisions relating to accidents in acts of service and occupational diseases contained in the decree with force of law N ° 1 of the Undersecretary of Guerra, the decree with force of law N ° 2 of the Ministry of the Interior, both from 1968, the decree with force of law N ° 1 1980, the Undersecretary for research and laws N ° s. 18.948 and 18.961.
Without limiting the foregoing, employees of public companies created by law, related to the Government through the Ministry of national defense, that is, factories and arsenals of the army-FAMAE, shipyards and arsenals of the Navy-ASMAR and Empresa Nacional de Aeronáutica de Chile-ENAER, who provide services that are governed by the labour code and are affiliated to the social security system established in Decree Law No. 3,500 , in 1980, will be subject to the provisions contained in law No. 16.744, on insurance against risk of accident and occupational diseases.
