LAW NO. 19,920 MODIFIES THE LABOR CODE AND ADMINISTRATIVE STATUTE, IN ORDER TO ALLOW AGREEMENTS ON WEEKLY REST. Having present that the National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: " Article 1.- Introduce the following amendments to the Labour Code: (a) the following Article 35 (a), new: " Article 35a.-The parties may agree that the working day corresponding to a working day between two holidays, or between a day and a Saturday or a day on a Saturday or a day, shall be added to the following: On Sunday, depending on the case, be rest, with the benefit of remuneration, agreeing to the compensation of the hours not worked by the provision of services before or after that date. It shall not be overtime worked in compensation for the rest agreed. Such a pact shall be in writing. In the case of non-excepted undertakings or faenas from Sunday rest, in no case may the compensation be agreed on Sunday. ', and (b) Substitute, in Article 36, the sentence' in the preceding article 'by' in the two Articles ". Article 2.-Add to Article 104 of Law No. 18.834, which contains the Administrative Statute, the following second indent, new: " You may also request that the working days inserted between two holidays, or a holiday and a Saturday or Sunday, as the case may be, may be of rest, with the enjoyment of remuneration, as long as they recover with another day or hours of work, carried out before or after the respective holiday. " Article 3.-Add the following second indent to Article 108 of Law No. 18.883, Administrative Staff Regulations of Municipal Officials: " Municipal officials may request that the working days inserted between two holidays, or a holiday and one day Saturday or Sunday, as the case may be, may be of rest, with the enjoyment of remuneration, as long as they recover with another day or hours of work, carried out before or after the respective holiday.
