LAW NO. 20,064 INCREASES THE PENALTIES IN CASES OF MALTREATMENT OF LABOR TO CARABINEROS WITH THE RESULT OF DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY Having present that the H. National Congress has |! |given its approval to the following Bill: " Article 1.- Make the following amendments to the Military Justice Code: 1) Replace Article 416 by the following: "Article 416.-The one who will kill a carabiner who will be in the exercise of his duties shall be punished with the penalty of imprisonment in his maximum degree to the term of life of a qualified person." 2) Replace Article 416 a by the following: " Article 416 a.-The one who will hurt, strike or maltreat a carabiner who will be in the exercise of his duties, shall be punished: 1. With the penalty of greater prison in his middle grade, if As a result of the injuries I will be the offended demented, useless for the work, impotent, prevented from some important or remarkably deformed member. 2nd. With a minor prison at the maximum level to the maximum degree, if the injuries result in the offended illness or incapacity for work for more than thirty days. 3rd.
