LAW NO. 20,085 INTRODUCES A TRANSITIONAL PROVISION TO DECREE LAW NO. 3.063, 1979, ON MUNICIPAL INCOME Having present that the National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: " Single article.-Add the following Article 6, transitional, new, in Decree Law No. 3.063, 1979, on Municipal Income, whose recast and systematised text was fixed by the Supreme Decree No. 2.385, 1996, of the Ministry of the Interior: " Article 6.-For the purposes of the application of the provisions of article 39 of this law during the year 2005, the overall amount per concept of the additional contribution that the municipalities of Providencia, Vitacura and Las Condes must make to the Municipal Fund, will be of 35,000 monthly tax units, distributed in the form indicated in the aforementioned article. In the case that the municipalities opt, in the year 2005, for making equivalent contributions to the Cultural Corporation of the Municipality of Santiago, as provided in the second paragraph of Article 39, those may be entered in the form and the opportunity to be established in the agreement that is signed for the effect between the municipalities that opt for that modality and the Corporation. However, at the end of 2006, the contributions that each of the municipalities indicated must be made to the Municipal Fund shall be integrated in accordance with the provisions of Article 39.
