Law No. 14,453 READJUING STAFF INCOME AND SETTING NEW PLANTS AND SALARIES FOR SERVICES DEPENDENT ON THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC EDUCATION MINISTRY OF PUBLIC EDUCATION (Published in the Official Journal No 24.812 of 6 December 1960) National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: Article 1 ° The staff of the Ministry of |! | Public Education will receive a levelling readjustment |! |of 13.67% on their remunerations affectas a |! |previsional impositions, a count from the 1 ° of |! |July 1960. Will not enjoy this benefit the Minister and the |! | Undersecretary, the staff of the National Stadium, of the |! | Directorate of Libraries, Archives and Museums and that of the |! | Office of Budgets. This percentage is included in the income |! |assigned to the different charges and at the hours of |! |classes in the plants fixed by the article 4 ° of the |! |present law. Consequently, the above mentioned percentage will cease |! |from the date on which the aforementioned plants are governed, which, |! |for the teaching staff, that will not need |! |pigeonhole, will be from the day of the publication of |! |this law in the "Official Journal" and, for the personal no |! |teacher, from the date on which the |! |pigeonhole takes place. In no case will the application of the pigeonhole |! |decrease the rents that are enjoying the referred |! |characters and the differences that could be produced are |! |will pay for supplementary planilla. Article 2 ° The annual salaries adjusted in the previous article shall be assimilated to the nearest higher integer, in order to avoid the centreses. Article 3 The 10% bonus, granted to the teaching staff of the Ministry of Public Education by decree of Finance 2,652, of 24 March, will be paid to count from 1 July of this year, on the basic salaries, including the trienes plus 13.67%. In the same way will be carried out with respect to the bonus granted to the personal of the Universities of Chile and the State Technique, by decree 9.155, of the Ministry of Finance, dated August 23, is that it will be applied also to the staff of the University of Concepción. Article 12 °. The positions of Social Assistants and Projectants in possession of the degree awarded by the University of Chile or another recognized by the State are declared technical. Article 13 °. Within the period of sixty days, the personnel of the Ministry of Public Education in the respective plants shall be located in accordance with the provisions of this law. Article 14 °. The degree, seniority and income will be taken into account in the case of administrative and service personnel. Article 15 °. The officials at present service which are located in the plants referred to in this law, which are paid in excess of the remuneration fixed in the posts in which they are charged, shall receive the difference by means of the supplementary, in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 202 (final) of Law 13.305. Article 16 °. The staff belonging to the plants, professional and technical, administrative and services, will enjoy the benefit established in article 59 ° of the decree with force of law 338, 1960.
