LAW NO. 21.001 ESTABLISHES THE NEW ESCALATION OF THE SERVICE OF ARMY PERSONNEL Having present that the National Congress has given its approval to the following Bill: " Article 1.-Enter the following modifications in the decree with force of law (G) No. 1, 1997, of the Ministry of National Defense, which establishes the Staff Regulations of the Armed Forces: 1. In Article 5: (a) Substitute under the heading of point D of your paragraph I the expression "Military Women" by " Personal '. (b) Replace in the second subparagraph of point D of its paragraph I the word "Colonel" by the expression "Brigadier General". 2. Substitute, under the heading of Article 8 (II) (II), the expression "Military Women" by the words "" "of Staff". 3. In Article 51: (a) Substitute, under the heading of numeral 3 of point A of paragraph I, the expression 'Military Women' by 'of Staff'. (b) Add, in numeral 3 of point A of paragraph I, after the expression '-Lieutenant Colonel 5 years ", the expression" -Colonel 5 years ". Article 2.-Introduces the following amendments to Article 1 of the decree with force of law (G) No. 1, 1998, of the Ministry of National Defense, which modifies the Plants of officers and civilian employees of the Army, Navy and Air Force in The form indicated: 1. In point (b), delete the sentence ": Students of the School of the Military Women's Service of the Army Aspirants to Classes: C2 °". TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS Article 1.-All the staff of officers and the Permanent Table of the Army belonging to the Military Women's Service Escalafon which, at the date of entry into force of this law, is in an active capacity, will be an integral part of the Staff Service Escalafon, retaining all the prerogatives, seniority and years of service, as well as the number of years in the grade, valid for promotion to the higher grade. Article 2-This law shall enter into force on 1 January of the year following that of its publication in the Official Journal.
