LEY NÚM. 21.487

MODIFICATION OF LAW N° 21.239, TO PROCEDURE THE MANDATE OF DIRECTORS OR ADMINISTRATION AND DIRECTION OF ASOCIATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

Bearing in mind that the H. National Congress has given its approval to the following bill initiated in motion of the deputies Henry Leal Bizama, Jorge Alessandri Vergara, Sergio Bobadilla Muñoz, Fernando Bórquez Montecinos, Juan Antonio Coloma Álamos, Juan Fuenzalida Cobo, Cristian Labbé Martínez, Renzo Trisotti Martínez, and of the deputadas Pérez Cartes,

Bill:

"Article 1.- Incorporate the following modifications into the single article of the Law No. 21.239which extends the mandate of directors or management bodies of associations and organizations that it indicates, due to the pandemic produced by the Covid-19:

1. Replace in the third paragraph the word "nine" for "maybe."

2. Add the following final subparagraph:

"This extension shall not apply to the directives, intermediate and administrative collegiate bodies regulated by law No. 18,603, a constitutional organ of the political parties whose consolidated, coordinated and systematized text was set by the decree with the force of law No. 4 of 2017, of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency."

Article 2.- Replace in paragraph 1 article 6 bis of Law No. 19,418 on boards of neighbours and other community organizations, whose consolidated, coordinated and systematized text was set by the Decree No. 58 of 1997 of the Ministry of the Interior, the expression "live of thirty days", by the phrase "live of sixty days".

Transitory article.- Be regularized by the administrative acts carried out by directors or bodies of administration and management of the associations and organizations referred to in the single article of Act No. 21.239, which extends the mandate of directors or bodies of administration and direction of the associations and organizations that indicate, due to the pandemic produced by the Covid-19, to the publication of this Act, which have been executed between 1 July and 1 July. ".

And for I have had it good to approve and punish it; therefore, promute and take it into effect as the Law of the Republic.
