Law amending the Law on consumer credit (SG. 18 of 2010)
§ 1. In art. 4 para. 1 pt. 2 and 3 the words "and 25" are replaced by "25 and 33a."
§ 2. A Art. 33a:
"Art. 33a. (1) The creditor shall publish on its website:
1. the current rate of use of it reference rates, and
2. used its methodology for determining the reference rate.
(2) The creditor is obliged to maintain its website and data on the amount of any reference rates, which it has specified under par. 1.
(3) The methodology under par. 1 can not be changed unilaterally by the creditor after the conclusion of the credit agreement. "
§ 3. A Art. 50a:
"Art. 50a. For violation of Art. 33a of the guilty persons shall be imposed a fine of 700 to 2,000 lev - for individuals and proprietary sanction from 3000 to 8000 lev - for sole traders and legal persons. "
Final provision
§ 4 . The law shall enter into force one month after its publication in the "Official Gazette".
The law was adopted by the 41 th National Assembly on July 15, 2010 and was affixed with the official seal of the National Assembly.
