I DECLARE:

To be published in the Official Gazette the law amending the law on notaries public and notarial activity adopted by HLI National Assembly on 21 October 2010.

amending the law on notaries public and notarial activity (official SG. 104 of 1996; amend., SG. 117, 118 and 123 of 1997 No. 24 of 1998, no. 69 (1999), no. 18 of 2003, no. 29 and 36 in 2004, no. 19 and 43 from 2005, issue 30, 39 and 41 of 2006. , PC. 59 and 64 since 2007, PCs. 50 and 69 by 2008 and PC. 42, 47 and 82 from 2009.)

Paragraph only. Article 84 shall be amended as follows:

"American diplomatic and consular representatives

Art. 84. (1) the Bulgarian consular officials abroad, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the code of civil procedure, and if the document is drawn up in the Bulgarian language, may:

1. to verify the date, content and signatures of private documents, which are not subject to registration and are represented by Bulgarian or foreign nationals;

2. to certify the accuracy of transcripts and extracts from documents submitted by Bulgarian citizens;

3. to draw up notarial wills of Bulgarian citizens.

(2) the verification of the date, content and signature of a private document, which is not subject to registration and is represented by a foreign national shall be carried out only if the document is intended to produce effects on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. "
