Act supplementing the Law on Hunting and Game Protection Act (prom. SG. 78 of 2000 .; amend., SG. 26 of 2001 No.. 77 and 79 of 2002, pcs. 88 2005 pcs. 82 and 108 in 2006, pcs. 64 of 2007, pcs. 43, 67, 69 and 91 of 2008 No.. 6, 80 and 92 of 2009 and SG. 73 of 2010)
§ 1. In art. 54 create par. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11:
"(6) The hunting of brown bears is done with a permit issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Food.
(7) annually by 31 January the Minister of Environment and Water and the Minister of Agriculture and determine the number of copies for shooting the bear to regulate its population. The designated number of copies for shooting brown bear can not be greater than 8 percent and less than 3 percent of its total number. It is not mandatory shooting the entire number set for shooting specimens of brown bear.
(8) permits under par. 6 issued by hunting areas and are valid until 31 December of the current year.
(9) Outside the specified under par. 7 number of copies for shooting brown bear, the Minister of Agriculture and Food immediately issue a permit under par. 6 in the case of attacks of bears on humans.
(10) Within three days after the issuance of the permit under par. 6 Minister of Agriculture and Food or authorized person shall notify the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water.
(11) The Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water is entitled to four hours after the shooting to check the legality of same and to take the necessary samples for testing. "
Transitional and Final Provisions
§ 2. as of September 1, 2010 the monitoring of the action Plan for the brown bear in Bulgaria is assigned to the Minister of environment and water and the Minister of Agriculture and food.
§ 3. In the Biological Diversity Act (prom. SG. 77 of 2002 .; amend., SG. 88 and 105 of 2005, pcs. 29, 30, 34 and 80 of 2006 ., No. 52, 53, 64 and 94 of 2007, pcs. 43 of 2008, pcs. 19, 80 and 103 of 2009 and SG. 62 of 2010) in art. 49, para. 1 made the following amendments:

1. In item. 1 after the words "Annex № 3" is added "without bear."
2. A new item. 2:
"2. Minister of Agriculture and Food - for the bear. " 3
. Previous items. 2 and 3 become items. 3 and 4.
