LAW

amending the law on protection of competition (official SG. 102 by 2008; amend., SG. 42 by 2009 and 54/97 and by 2010.)

§ 1. In art. 4, al. 1 the word ' five ' is replaced by ' seven ' and the word ' three ' is replaced by ' five '.

§ 2. In art. 59 the following modifications are made:

1. In paragraph 8. 1 the figure "3" shall be replaced by "4".

2. in the Al. 2:

(a) in the first sentence), the figure "3" shall be replaced by "four";

(b) in the second sentence) the numbers "5" and "3" are replaced with "7" and "4".

Transitional and final provisions

§ 3. (1) within one month from the entry into force of this law, the National Assembly shall elect two new members of the Commission for protection of competition.

(2) new members of the Commission for protection of competition under para. 1 shall be elected by the National Assembly for a period until the end of the term of Office of the existing members.

§ 4. Within two months of the entry into force of this law the Commission for protection of competition adopted amendments to the rules of procedure of the Commission for protection of competition.

§ 5. In the public procurement Act (official SG. 28 of 2004; amend., 53/2004, no. 31, 34 and 105 by 2005, issue 18, 33, and 37 79 by 2006, issue 59 (2007), no. 94, 98 and 102 by 2008, no. 24 and 82 from 2009, issue 52, 54, 97, 98 and 99 of the 2010 and 19 and 43 from 2011) in art. 122 the following modifications are made:

1. In paragraph 8. 1 the word "three" is replaced by "four".

2. in the Al. 2:

(a) in the first sentence), the figure "3" shall be replaced by "four";

(b) in the second sentence) the numbers "5" and "3" are replaced with "7" and "4".

§ 6. In the law on concessions (official SG. 36 of 2006; amend., SG. 53, 65 and 105 of 2006, issue 41, 59 and 109 from 2007, issue 50, 67 and 102 by 2008, issue 47, 99 and 103 of 2009, 52 and 54 of 2010 and 50 by 2011) in art. 90 is hereby amended as follows: 1. In para. 1 the word "three" is replaced by "four".

2. in the Al. 2:

(a) in the first sentence), the figure "3" shall be replaced by "four";

(b) in the second sentence) the numbers "5" and "3" are replaced with "7" and "4".

§ 7. The law shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette with the exception of § 2, 5 and 6, which shall enter into force within one month of the promulgation of the law in the Official Gazette.

The law was passed by the National Assembly-Otto 41 on 7 September 2011 and is stamped with the official seal of the National Assembly.
