amending the law on local self-government and local administration (official SG. 77 of 1991; amend., SG. 24, 49 and 65 of 1995, no. 90 of 1996 No. 122 of 1997, no. 33, 130 and 154 1998 67/69 and 1999/26 and 85 in 2000, issue 1 from 2001. , PC. 28, 45 and 119 in 2002, PCs. 69. § 1. In art. 26, al. 1, third sentence, the words "be greater than the amount of" shall be replaced by ' shall not exceed 90 per cent of ".

§ 2. In art. 34 para. 2 shall be amended as follows:

"(2) the total amount of the remuneration of the municipal councillor for one month may not be more than 70 percent of:

1. the gross wage of the President of the Municipal Council for that month, in municipalities with a population of over 100 000 people;

2. the average gross wage of the municipal administration for that month, in municipalities with a population of up to 100 000 people. "

§ 3. In art. 48, para. 1 to create the second and third sentences: "Every municipal councillor is a member of at least one Standing Committee. The President of the Municipal Council may not be elected as a member of the Standing Committee. "

Final provisions

§ 4. In the law on State social insurance budget for 2014 (SG. 106 by 2013) in annex No. 1 to the art. 8, al. 1, item 1 in the "remarks" in paragraph 4, after the words ' does not apply to "insert" and "municipal councilors.

§ 5. The law shall enter into force from 1 January 2014.

The law was adopted by the 42nd National Assembly on 20 December 2013 and is stamped with the official seal of the National Assembly.
