Homologa the administrative demarcation of the Indigenous Kayabi Land, located in the Municipalities of Apiacás, in the State of Mato Grosso, and Jacareacanga, in the State of Pará.

THE CHAIRWOMAN OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that confers it on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and with a view to the provisions of the art. 19, § 1º, of Law No. 6,001, of December 19, 1973, and in art. 5º of Decree No. 1,775, of January 8, 1996,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º It is homologated to administrative demarcation, promoted by the National Indigenous Foundation-FUNAI, of Indigenous land intended for permanent possession of the indigenous groups Kayabi, Munduruku and Apiaká, named the indigenous Kayabi Land, with surface area of an million, fifty-three thousand, two hundred and fifty-seven hectares, sixty-eight airs and eleven centiars and perimeter of seven hundred and thirty-three thousand, six hundred and sixty-three metres and sixty-three centimetres, situated in the Municipalities of Apiacás, in the State of Mato Grosso, and Jacareacanga, in the State of Pará, with the following limits: begins the description of this perimeter at point P-01, of approximate geographical coordinates 07º53 '21 ,8 "S and 57º50' 26 ,9" WGr, located in the confluence of the Igarapé das Pedras with the Rio São Manoel or Teles Pires; hence, it follows by the said river, upstream, up to point P-02, of approximate geographical coordinates 08º22 '02 ,5 "S and 57º40' 13 ,4" WGr, located on its left margin; hence, it follows by line, straight through the São Manoel River or Teles Pires, up to point P-03, of approximate geographical coordinates 08º21'54 ,7 "S and 57º39 ' 49 ,2" WGr, located at the confluence with the Igarapé Black;
