DECREE NO. 8,557, OF November 11, 2015

Disposes on the execution of the Fourteenth Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35 (57PA-ACE35), firmed between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to Mercosur, and the Republic of Chile, on November 24, 2014.

THE CHAIRWOMAN OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers it on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and

Whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration-Aladi Association, firmed up by the Federative Republic of the Brazil on August 12, 1980 and promulgated by the Decree No. 87,054 of March 23, 1982, provides for the modality of Economic Supplementation Agreement;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to Mercosur, and the Republic of Chile, based on the 1980 Treaty of Montevideo, firmed on June 25, 1996, in San Luis, in Argentina, the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, promulgated by the Decree No. 2,075 of November 19, 1996; and

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of the Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to Mercosur, and the Republic of Chile, on the basis of the 1980 Treaty of Montevideo, firmed, on November 24, 2014, in Montevideo, the Fiftieth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The Fiftieth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, States Parties to Mercosur, and the Republic of Chile, of November 24, 2014, annex to this Decree, will be executed and complied with in full on its terms.

Art. 2º This Decree comes into force on the date of its publication.
