DECREE NO. 4,911 OF December 10, 2003.

Disposes on the execution of the Thirty-seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement in the 35, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in the condition of States Parties to MERCOSUR, and the Republic of Chile, of July 2, 2003.

THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the exercise of the post of President of the Republic, using the assignment that gives him the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution,

Whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), signed by Brazil on August 12, 1980 and approved by the Congress National, by means of the Legislative Decree No. 66 of November 16, 1981, provides for the modality of Economic Supplementation Agreement;

Whereas, on June 25, 1996, the Governments of the Federative Republic of the Brazil, of the Argentine Republic, of the Republic of Paraguay, of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and of the Republic of Chile signed the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, incorporated into the Brazilian legal planning by the Decree No. 2,075, 19 of November 1996;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in the condition of States Parties to MERCOSUR, and of the Republic of Chile, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed, in Montevideo, on July 2, 2003, the Thirtieth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of the Brazil, of the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in the condition of States Parties to MERCOSUR, and the Republic of Chile;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The Thirtieth Seventh Additional Protocol to the Agreement on Economic Supplementation No. 35, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in the condition of States Parties to the MERCOSUR, and of the Republic of Chile, apensed by copy to the present Decree, will be executed and fulfilled as entirely as it contains.

Art. 2º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.

The Plenipotentiaries Of The Argentine Republic, of the Federative Republic of Brazil, of the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in their condition of States Parties of the Common Market of the South (MERCOSUR) by one party, and of the Republic of Chile by another, accredited by their respective Governments second powers heard in good and due form, deposited opportunely at the General Secretariat of the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI),

HAVING IN VIEW the MCS-CH Resolution No 01/2003,

SUITS IN:

Article 1-Establishing the tariff treatment to be bestoed on products included in Annex 4 of the ACE 35 for reciprocal trade between the Republic of Chile and the Republic of Paraguay, in the following terms:
