DECREE OF February 8, 2000.

Declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate known as?Farmhouse Boqueirão and Others?, situated in the Municipalities of Carinhanha and Fair of the Mata, State of Bahia, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 18 and 20 of Law No. 4,504 of November 30, 1964, 2º of Law No. 8,629 of February 25, 1993, and 2º of the Supplementary Act No. 76, of July 6, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is stated to be of interest social, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters?a?,?b?,?c? e?d?, and 20, inciso VI, of Law No. 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2º of Law No. 8,629, of February 25, 1993, rural real estate known as?Farmhouse Boqueirão and Others?, with area of one thousand, one hundred and thirty-seven hectares and sixty-eight ares, situated in the Municipalities of Carinhanha and Fair of the Mata, object of the Registers R-01-6.354, fls. 142, Book 2-X; R-6-758, fls. 159v, Book 2-B; R-02-5.876, fls. 194, Book 2-U and R-8-5.878, fls. 197, Book 2-U, of the Registration Office of Real estate and Mortgages, Headlines and Documents of the Comarch of Carinhanha, State of Bahia.

Art. 2º Excludes from the effects of this Decree the soothing, the machines and the implements agricultural, as well as the existing benfeits in the immovable referred to in the previous article and belonging to those who will be benefited from it.

Art. 3º The National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform-INCRA is hereby authorized to promote the rural impropriation of the rural property of which it treats this Decree, in the manner provided for in the Supplementary Act No. 76 of July 6, 1993, and to hold the area of Legal Reserve provided for in Law No. 4,771 of September 15, 1965, preferentially in single gleba, so as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
