DECREE NO. 5,784, OF May 24, 2006.

Fixed privative posts of Officer-General of Aeronautics in time of peace and gives other arrangements.

The PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the incisos VI, point?, and XIII of the art. 84 of the Constitution,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º Are custodians of Officer-General of Aeronautics the following posts:

I-Table of Aviator Officers:

a) of the rank of Lt. Brigadier:

1. Chief of the Air Staff of Aeronautics;

2. Commander-General of Support;

3. Commander-General of Air Operations;

4. Commander-General of Personnel;

5. Director General of the Department of Air Space Control;

6. Director General of the Department of Aeronautics Education; and

7. Commander-General of Aerospace Technology

b) of the rank of Lieutenant-Brigadier or Major-Brigadier:

Art. 2º In special cases of convenience for the service, at the discretion of the Commander of Aeronautics, the Major-Newly promoted Air Brigadier will be able to remain in the previous post's private job exercise for no longer than eight months.

Art. 3º The nominations of Officials-Generals for the posts provided for in this Decree will take effect in act of the President of the Republic, respected the limits set in law for the Effectives of Aeronautics.

Art. 4º The positions of a privative military nature of Official-General, in organs extraneous to the Aeronautics Command, will be regulated in specific legislation.

Art. 5º This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.

Art. 6th Revogam-se the Decrees of August 30, 2004 and of March 8, 2006, which set up privative posts of Officer-General of Aeronautics in peacetime.
