DECREE N. 4,511? OF December 12, 2002

Disposes on the execution of the Thirty-first Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 35, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, of the Argentine Republic, of the Republic of Paraguay, of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Chile, of September 9, 2002.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that gives it the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution,

Considering that the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), signed by the Federative Republic of Brazil on August 12, 1980 and approved by the National Congress, by means of the Legislative Decree No. 66 of November 16, 1981, provides for the modality of Economic Supplementation Agreement;

Whereas, on June 25, 1996, the Governments of the Federative Republic from Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay, the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Chile signed the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, incorporated into the Brazilian legal planning by the Decree No. 96, 12 of september 1996;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay, the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Chile, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed on September 9, 2002, in Montevideo, the Thirtieth First Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil, of the Argentine Republic, of the Republic of Paraguay, of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Chile;

DECRETA:

Art. 1 ° The Thirtieth First Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 35, between the Governments of the Republic Federative of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay, the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and the Republic of Chile, apensed by copy to the present Decree, will be executed and fulfilled as entirely as it contains.

Art. 2 ° This Decree enters into force on the date of its publication.
