DECREE OF October 27, 2004

Homologa the administrative demarcation of the Indigenous Land Urubu River, located in the Municipality of Itacoatiara, State of the Amazonas.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that confers him the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and with a view to art. 19, § 1º, of Law No. 6,001, of December 19, 1973, and the art. 5º of Decree No. 1,775, of January 8, 1996,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is homologated to administrative demarcation, promoted by the National Indigenous Foundation-FUNAI, of Indigenous land intended for the permanent possession of the indigenous Mura group, as described: the Indigenous Land named Rio Urubu, with surface of twenty-seven thousand, three hundred and fifty hectares, ninety and eighteen centiars and perimeter of one hundred and twenty-two thousand, four hundred and eighty-five meters and fifteen centimeters, situated in the Municipality of Itacoatiara, State of Amazonas, circumscribes to the following limits: NORTE/EAST: departing from point P-01, of approximate geodetic coordinates 03 ° 00 '13.1' 'S and 59 ° 01'57,2' 'WGr., located at the confluence of the Igarapé Jabuti with the Igarapé das Pedras, follows by the right margin of the latter, downstream, up to the point P-02, of approximate geodetic coordinates 02 ° 59' 38.6 '' S and 58 ° 59 '43.6' ' WGr., located at its confluence with the Urubu River; hence, it follows by the right margin of this, downstream, up to point P-03, of approximate geodetic coordinates 03 ° 12 '' 45.2 '' S and 58 ° 47 '' WGr., located at its confluence with the Igarapé Tarumã; SUL: from the point before described, it follows by the left margin of the Igarapé Tarumã, upstream, up to point P-04, of approximate geodetic coordinates 03 ° 11'17,6 '' S and 58 ° 49 '46.5' ' WGr., located at its confluence with the Igarapé Gomar; located in the right domain strip of the vicinal road Fortaleza; hence, it follows crossing this road to the landmark M-10/2, of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 06 '24, 99324 "S and 59 ° 00' 30, 84233" WGr.; located in the left domain lane of this road; hence, it follows by this one up to the milestone M-10/3, of geodetic coordinates 03 ° 06 ' 52, 12717 " S and 59 ° 01'02, 70970" WGr.; located at the entrenched with the Road of the New Remanso; hence, it follows by its right margin, downstream, up to the point P-01, start of the description of this perimeter. Observation: 1-Base cartographic used in the elaboration of this descriptive memorial: SA.21-Y-A-V, SA.21-Y-A-VI, SA.21-Y-C-II and SA.21-Y-C-III-1:100.000-DSG-1980; 2-the geodetic coordinates cited in this descriptive memorial are referenced to Datum Horizontal SAD-69.

Art. 2º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
