DECREE NO. 5,663, OF January 9, 2006.

Disposes on the execution of the Thirtieth Second Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 14, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Argentine Republic, of 29 of December 2005.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that confers the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution,

Whereas the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, which created the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), firmed by Brazil on August 12, 1980 and approved by the National Congress, through the Legislative Decree no 66 of November 16, 1981, provides for the modality of Agreement of Economic Complementation;

Considering that the Plenipotentiaries of the Republic Federative of Brazil and the Argentine Republic, based on the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed on December 20, 1990, in Montevideo, the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 14, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic Argentina, incorporated into the national legal planning by the Decree no 60, of March 15, 1991;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Argentine Republic, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, signed on December 29 from 2005, in Montevideo, the Thirtieth Second Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 14, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Argentine Republic;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The Thirty-second Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement in the 14, between the Governments of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Argentine Republic, apensed by copy to the present Decree, will be executed and fulfilled as entirely as it contains

Art. 2º This Decree comes in vigour on the date of its publication.

ECONOMIC COMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT NO. 14 SIGNED BETWEEN THE ARGENTINE REPUBLIC AND THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL

THIRTIETH SECOND ADDITIONAL PROTOCOL

The Plenipotentiaries of the Argentine Republic and of the Federative Republic of Brazil, accredited by their respective Governments second powers that were bestowed in good and due form, deposited opportunely in the General Secretariat of the Association (ALADI).

Considering the provisions of Article 3rd of the Thirty-first Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement no 14, of November 11, 2002.

Taking into account that the Parties have agreed not to implement free trade in the automotive sector as of ,

Concome in:

SINGLE ARTICLE

Extend for a period of SIXTY (60) days, counted as of , the duration of the Thirtieth First Additional Protocol with the conditions of application established for the year 2005.

The General Secretariat of ALADI shall be a depositary of this Protocol, of which will send duly authenticated copies to the Signatory Governments.

IN FÉ DO WHAT, THE respective Plenipotentiaries sign the present Protocol in the city of Montevideo, at the twenty-nine days of the month of December of the year two thousand and five, in an original in the Portuguese and Spanish languages, being both texts being equally valid.
