I do know that the FEDERAL SENATE has approved, and I, ANTONIO CARLOS MAGALHÃES, PRESEDENT, in the terms of art. 48, item 28, of the Rules of Procedure, promulgated the following

RESOLUTION NO. 54, OF 2000.

Authorizes the Municipal Prefecture of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) to hire credit operation with National Bank of Economic and Social Development (BNDES), worth R$ 94,870,000.00 (ninety and four million, eight hundred and sixty thousand reais), at the prices of October 1999.

resolves:

Art. 1º è the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) authorized to hire credit operation with the National Economic and Social Development Bank (BNDES), worth R$ 94,870,000.00 (ninety-four million, eight hundred and seventy thousand reais), at the prices of October 1999.

Single paragraph. The features referred to in the caput will be intended for the continuity of the restoration works and improvements to Avenida Brasil.

Art. 2º The credit operation referred to in the art. 1º presents the following financial characteristics:

I-value of the operation: R$ 94,870,000.00 (ninety and four million, eight hundred and seventy thousand reais);

II-interest rate: TJLP plus 0.4074% a.m. (four thousand and seventy four tenths of thousandths per cent per month) required quarterly in the grace period and monthly in amortization, with the caveat of the amount matching the TJLP parcel that comes to exceed 6% a.a (six per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent per cent. per year) will be incorporated into the main;.

III-update index: there are no;

IV-guarantees: quotas-parts of the ICMS;

V-deadline: ninety monthly installments, after thirty months of carency;

VI-maturity: until December 31, 2010;

VII-other charges: there are not;

VIII-purpose: continuity of restoration works and improvements on Brazil Avenue;

IX-release: R$ 20,000,000.00 (twenty million reais) in 2000, R$ 30.000.000.00 (thirty million reais) in 2001, R$ 37,600,000.00 (thirty-seven million and six thousand reais) in 2002, R$ 7.270.000.00 (seven million, two hundred and seventy thousand reais) in 2003.

Art. 3º The authorization granted by these Resolution is to be exercised within two hundred and seventy days, counted from the date of its publication.

Art. 4º This Resolution comes into effect on the date of its publication.
