DECREE NO. 8,342, OF November 13, 2014
Promulgate the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of the Brazil and the Government of the Republic of India on the Exercise of Paid Activities by Dependents of Diplomatic and Consular Personnel, firmed in Brasilia, on February 2, 2006.
THE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the exercise of the post of PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that confers you the art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and Whereas the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of India firmed, in Brasilia on February 2, 2006, the Agreement on the Exercise of Paid Activities by Dependents of Diplomatic and Consular Personnel;
Whereas the National Congress has approved the Agreement by the Legislative Decree no 596, of August 28, 2009; and
Whereas the Agreement entered into force for the Federative Republic of Brazil, in the external legal plan on March 16, 2012, pursuant to paragraph 1º of its Article 8;
DECRETA:
Art. 1º It is enacted the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of the Republic of India on the Exercise of Paid Activities by Dependents of Diplomatic and Consular Personnel, firming in Brasilia, in 2 of February 2006, annex to this Decree.
Single paragraph. The Agreement referred to in caput will be executed and complied with in full in its terms.
Art. 2º Are subject to the approval of the National Congress acts that may result in revision of the Agreement and supplementary adjustments that entail gravy charges or commitments to the national heritage, pursuant to the inciso I of the caput of article 49 of the Federal Constitution.
Art. 3º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
