DECREE OF March 21, 2002.

Gives new essay to art. 1^o of the Decree of November 20, 1997, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named "Set Resurrection", constituted by the properties " Resurrection, Boa Vista, São Felipe, Boa Sorte, Monte Alegre, São José, Are Sundays, Bonfim, Interview and Victory ", situated in the Municipality of Ilhéus, State of Bahia, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 18 and 20 of the Act n^o 4,504, of November 30, 1964, 2^o of Law n^o 8,629, of February 25, 1993, and 2^o of the Supplementary Act n^o 76, of July 6, 1993,

DECREE:

Art. 1^o The art. 1^o of the Decree of November 20, 1997, published in the Official Journal of the Union of November 21, 1997, Section 1, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate it mentions, passes the vigour with the following essay:

" Art. 1^o It is declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters "a", "b", "c" and "d", and 20, inciso VI, of the Law n^o 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2^o of the Law n^o 8,629, of February 25, 1993, the rural real estate named "Set Resurrection", constituted by the properties "Resurrection, Good View, Are Felipe, Good Luckery, Monte Joyous, St. Joseph, Are Sundays, Bonfim, Interview and Victory", with registered area of five hundred and thirty-eight hectares, forty four airs and seventeen centiars, and area measured of six hundred and twenty-nine hectares, fifty and six airs and fifty nine centiars, situated in the Municipality of Ilhéus, object of the Matriculation n^o 4,179, fls. 210v, Book 3-K and Registers n^os R-2-4.179, R-3-4.179, R-4-4.179, R-5-4.179, R-6-4.179, R-7-4.179, R-9-4.179, R-10-4.179, and R-11-4.179, all fls. 210v, Book 3-K, of the Estate Registration Office 2ª, Circumscription of the City and Comarch of Ilhéus, State of Bahia. Art. 2^o This Decree enters into force on the date of its publication.
