DECREE OF October 24, 2002

Gives new essay to art. 1ºdo Decree of April 2, 1997, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named "Fazenda Riacho dos Cavalos", situated in the Municipality of Site do Mato, State of Bahia, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 18 and 20 of Law nº4.504, of November 30, 1964, 2ºda Law nº8.629, of February 25, 1993, and 2ºda Supplemental Act nº76, of July 6, 1993,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º The art. 1ºdo Decree of April 2, 1997, published in the Official Journal of the Union of the following day, Section 1, which declares of social interest, for the purposes of land reform, the rural real estate named "Fazenda Riacho dos Cavalos", situated in the Municipality of Site do Mato, State of Bahia, goes on to invigorate with the following essay:

?Art. 1º It is declared of social interest, for the purposes of agrarian reform, in the terms of the arts. 18, letters? a?,? b?,? c? e? d?, and 20, inciso VI, of Law nº4.504, of November 30, 1964, and 2ºda Law nº8.629, of February 25, 1993, the rural real estate named "Fazenda Riacho dos Cavalos", with registered area of two thousand, one hundred and four hectares, ninety-nine airs and three centiars and measured area of two thousand, ninety and ninety and one hectares, seventy and one ares and three centiars, situated in the Municipality of Site do Mato, object of the Registers # R-1-281, fls. 281, from Book 2, and R-1-781, fls. 210, of Book 2-B, of the Estate Registration Office of the Comarch of Good Jesus da Lapa, State of Bahia (Processo/INCRA/SR-05/nº21460.001122/96-64).? Art. 2º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
