DECREE NO. 6,126, OF June 15, 2007.

Gives new essay to art. 2º of the Decree No. 5,023 of March 23, 2004, which creates the Victory Medal.

The PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that gives him the art. 84, inciso VI, point (? a?, of the Constitution,


Art. 1º The art. 2º of Decree No 5,023, of March 23, 2004, passes the vigour with the following essay:

?Art. 2º The Victory Medal could be conferred on the military of the Armed Forces, the national civilians, the foreign military and civilians, the military police and firefighters and the national military and civil institutions that have contributed to the diffusion of the accomplishments of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force and the remaining Brazilian combatants during the 2a World War, participated in international conflicts in defending the interests of the Country, integrated peacekeeping missions, provided relevant or supported services the Ministry of Defense in fulfilling its constitutional missions.? Art. 2º This Decree comes into effect on the date of its publication.
