DECREE NO. 6,828, OF April 27, 2009.

Regulamenta o art. 29, incisors I, II and III, of Law n 6,015, of December 31, 1973, which provides on public records, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignment that gives it the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and with a view to the provisions of the arts. 18, 19 and 29 of the Law nth 6,015, of December 31, 1973,


Art. 1th The certificates stemming from the records provided for in art. 29, incisions I, II and III, of Law n 6,015, of 1973, shall, respectively, observe the models set out in Annexes I, II and III of this Decree.

Paragraph single. The certificates of which treat the caput, in addition to containing the shape and the elements presented in the Annexes to this Decree, should be confected with the following characteristics:

I-in the case of the birth certificate, on paper with details in the blue, green, and yellow colors;

II-in the case of the marriage certificate, on paper with details in the green color; and

III-in the case of the death certificate, on paper with details in the blue color.

Art. 2th The certificates provided for in the art. 1th shall count on standardized and unified matriculation nationally, which identifies the forwarder's office, the year, the book and the sheet on which the registration was made.

Single paragraph. The number of the Declaration of Living-DNV, when there is, can be released in the own field of the birth certificate.

Art. 3th The use of the constant certificate models of the Annexes to this Decree will be mandatory as of 1th of January 2010.

Paragraph single. The birth, marriage and death certificates, issued previously for the duration of this Decree and up to the target date in the caput, will remain valid throughout the national territory.

Art. 4th This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
