Altera the boundaries of the National Park of the Nascentes of the Parnaíba River, in the states of the Piauí, Maranhão, Bahia and Tocantins, created by the Decree s / no de July 16, 2002.

THE CHAIRWOMAN OF THE REPUBLIC I do know that the National Congress decrees and I sanction the following Law:

Art. 1º The National Park of the Nascentes do Rio Parnaíba, created by the Decree s / No of July 16, 2002, located in the divisa of the states of the Piauí, the Maranhão, Bahia and the Tocantins, stands with its altered limit as described in this Law. Single paragraph. The National Park of the Nascentes do Rio Parnaíba, with approximate area of 749,848 ha (seven hundred and forty-nine thousand, eight hundred and forty-eight hectares), is described from the topographical letters, Datum SAD 69: SC-23-Y-B-I, SC-23-Y-AIII, SC-23-V-C-VI, SC-23-V-D-IV, SC-23-V-D-V, SC-23-V-D-II, SC-23-V-D-VI, SC-23-Y-B-III, SC-23-Y-B-II, edited by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics-IBGE, in scale 1:100.000, with the following descriptive memorial: starts at point P-001, of approximate metric coordinates (c.m.a.) 8.849.810N and 369.321E, located at the confluence of the Come Assado River with the Córrego Come Cozido; follows downstream by the right bank of the River Come Assado to the point P-002, of c.m.a. 8.842.970N and 365.617E, located at the mouth of an undenomination watercourse, on the right bank of the River Come Assado;
