DECREE OF October 22, 2008.

Declara of social interest, for purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named?Farm Our Lady of the Thanks?, situated in the Municipalities of Lajedo and Ibirajuba, State of Pernambuco, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 184 of the Constitution, and in the terms of the arts. 2^o of the Supplemental Act n^o 76, of July 6, 1993, 18 and 20 of the Act n^o 4,504, of November 30, 1964, and 2^o of the Law n^o 8,629, of February 25, 1993,

DECRETA:

Art. 1^o Is it declared of social interest, for purposes of agrarian reform, the rural real estate named?Farm Our Lady of the Thanks?, with registered area of one thousand and twenty-three hectares and twenty-six airs, and measured area of ninety and ninety and one hectares, fifty and six airs and sixty two centiars, situated in the Municipalities of Lajedo and Ibirajuba, object of the Matriculation n^o 1,640, Registrations n^os 11 and 12, fls. 3883 and 4264v, Book 2, of the Estate Registration Office of the Comarch of Lajedo, State of Pernambuco (Process INCRA/SR-03/n^o 54140.001206 /2006-85).

Art. 2^o This Decree, regardless of discrimination or fundraising, does not hear any particular indennial effects, regarding domain areas public constituted by law or registration and to areas of private domain harvested by nullity, prescription, comb or ineffectiveness operated solely for the benefit of any legal person of public law, excepted the benfeons of good faith in them existing previously to the science of the beginning of the administrative procedure, excluding still from its effects the semovens, machinery and agricultural implements and any benfeitory introduced by anyone who comes to benefit from it targeting.

Art. 3^o The National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform -INCRA, attested to the private dominial legitimacy of the mentioned planimetry area, is hereby authorized to promote the disappropriation of the rural real estate of which it treats this Decree, in the manner provided for in the Supplementary Act n^o 76, of July 6, 1993, and the hold the areas of Legal Reserve and permanent preservation provided for in Law n^o 4,771, of September 15, 1965, preferentially in single gleba, so as to reconcile the settlement with the preservation of the environment.

Art. 4^o This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
