DECREE of November 29, 2000.

Outorga concession to the entities it mentions, to perform service of broadcasting of sounds and images, with exclusively educational purposes, and gives others providences.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments that confer upon him the arts. 84, inciso IV, and 223, caput, of the Constitution, and 34, § 1º, of Law No. 4,117 of August 27, 1962, and with a view to the provisions of the art. 14, § 2º, of the Decree-Law No. 236 of February 28, 1967, and in § 1º of the art. 13 of the Regulation of Broadcasting Services, approved by Decree No. 52,795 of October 31, 1963, with the wording given to it by Decree No. 2,108, of December 24, 1996,

decrees:

Art. 1º Stay outwarded concession to the entities mentioned below, to perform, by the 15-year term, with no right of exclusivity, service of broadcasting of sounds and images, with exclusively educational purposes.

I-FOUNDATION RADIO AND TV LAFAIETE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL, in the city of Councilor Lafaiete, State of Minas Gerais (Process # 53710.001386/99);

II-FOUNDATION UNIVERSE, in the city of São Gonçalo, State of Rio de January (Process # 53000.007496/99);

III-SETORIAL FOUNDATION OF EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING OF SOUNDS AND IMAGES, in the city of Pindamonhangaba, State of São Paulo (Process No. 53500.001547/98).

Para. single. The awarded grants shall be governed by the Brazilian Code of Telecommunications, subsequent laws, regulations and obligations assumed by the outwings.

Art. 2º This act will only produce legal effects after deliberation of the National Congress, pursuant to § 3º of the art. 223 of the Constitution.

Art. 3º The contracts arising from these concessions are to be signed within sixty days, from the date of publication of the deliberation of which it treats the previous article, under penalty of becoming nulls, full-fledging, the acts of outorga.

Art. 4º This Decree takes effect on the date of its publication.
