I do know that the National Congress has approved, and I, José Sarney, President of the Federal Senate, in the terms of the art. 48, inciso XXVIII, of the Rules of Procedure, promulgated the following
No. 209, DE 2004 (*)
approves the text of the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of the United States of America on Mutual Assistance between its Customs Administrations, concluded on June 20, 2002, in Brasília.
The National Congress decrees:
Art. 1º The text of the Agreement between the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Government of the United States of America on Mutual Mutual Assistance between its Customs administrations, concluded on June 20, 2002, in Brasilia.
Single Paragraph. They shall be subject to the approval of the National Congress any acts that may result in revision of the said Agreement as well as any further adjustments which, pursuant to the inciso I of the art. 49 of the Federal Constitution, carries charges or written commitments to national heritage.
Art. 2º This Legislative Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
