DECREE OF December 21, 2007.

Cria the Silvestre Life Refuge of Una, in the Municipality of Una, in the State of Bahia, and gives other arrangements.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in accordance with the provisions of the arts. 13 and 22, § 2nd, of Law No 9,985 of July 18, 2000, and what is stated in the Process at 02001.002930 /2006-17,

DECRETA:

Art. 1st It is created the Silvestre Life Refuge of Una, in the Municipality of Una, in the State of the Bahia, with the aim of protecting natural environments where they ensure conditions for the existence or reproduction of species or communities of local flora and resident or migratory fauna.

Art. 2nd The Silvestre Life Refuge of Una has the limits described from the letters topographic at scale 1:100.000, MI in the 2188 and 2189, edited by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistical-IBGE, the datum used to design the coordinates was Córrego Alegre:

Single Paragraph. The subsoil of the areas described in the caput of this article integrates the boundaries of the Silvestre Life Refuge of Una.

Art. 3rd The Silvestre Life Refuge of Una will be run by the Chico Mendes Institute of Conservation of Biodiversity-Chico Mendes Institute, which should adopt the necessary measures for its effective protection and deployment.

Art. 4th Ficam declared of public utility, for the purposes of dispropriation by the Institute Chico Mendes, the existing private rural real estate in the limits described in art. 2nd of this Decree, in the terms of the arts. 5th, point?k?, and 6th of Decree-Law No 3,365 of June 21, 1941.

§ 1st The Chico Mendes Institute is allowed to promote and execute the dispossession that it treats the caput of this article, and may, for the purpose of immission in possession, aller the urgency to which the art is referred. 15 of Decree-Law No 3,365, 1941.

§ 2nd The Federal Prosecutor-General's Office, the body of the Union Advocate-General, through its unit legal implementation with the Chico Mendes Institute, is authorized to promote the relevant administrative and judicial measures, targeting the declaration of nullity of eventual property securities and respective real estate records considered irregular, incidents in the Silvestre Life Refuge of Una.

Art. 5th This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
